Students and Parents are encouraged to attend FAFSA Completion Day on February 23, 2012 at John Harris High School in the library from 8:20 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. or at 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. PHEAA will be present to assist students and parents with completing financial aid documents. You must bring your 2011 completed tax forms. Filling out the FAFSA form is the first step to get money to pay for your college education.
Parents and students are also invited to check out the school district website for available scholarships. Go to Student and Family Services tab and click secondary counseling. The scholarships are organized by due date. If you need more information or help, please call your child’s counselor.

The PVAAS website houses a statistical analysis of PSSA assessment data, and provides districts and their schools with progress data to add to achievement data. This new lens of measuring student learning provides educators with valuable information to ensure they are meeting the academic needs of cohorts of students, as well as individual students.
