The Harrisburg School District employees certified school psychologists who work collaboratively as part of the district’s school team.  Duties of the school psychologist include collaborating on Response to Intervention and Instruction (RtII) teams with teachers, and administration; assisting in crisis situations; promoting Positive Behavioral Intervention Support (PBIS); and working to promote positive mental health in the students and faculty of the Harrisburg School District.  Please note that if your child is not currently in special education no individual observations or assessments will be done without your written approval.  However, in the case of a crisis situation, please note that individual or group assessment or counseling can be given and parents will be contacted afterward.
