Rachel Bechtel

Rachel Bechtel earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and her Master of Science degree in Psychology (Certification in School Psychology).  Ms. Bechtel's personal philosophy, that drives her work within the Harrisburg School district, is that every child has a unique set of strengths and needs, which need to be understood and utilized to optimize their academic achievement and overall success in life.  Ms. Bechtel has over six years of experience in mobile therapy and behavioral specialist work with children and youth.  Ms. Bechtel is currenty serving as our school psychologist for Harrisburg High School.  Ms. Bechtel encourages parental involvement and utilizes parents’ insight, information, and ideas.  Ms. Bechtel has been employed by the district since 2002, and looks forward to many more years with the district.
