                                                                     Nikole Y. Hollins

 

 

Ms. Hollins currently works with Rowland School (Grades 5-8). She earned her Master of Science Degree/ School Psychology Certification from Millersville University. Ms. Hollins has worked with a variety of students during her time in the district, and appreciates each student’s unique qualities.

 

Ms. Hollins has been an employee of the district for approximately seven years. She currently serves as one of the district crisis team leaders. Additionally, Ms. Hollins has served as a school psychologist intern supervisor and plans to serve as a mentor to 1styear school psychologists, newly hired to the district.  Ms. Hollins also serves as co-chair of the Diversity Committee for the Association of School Psychologists of Pennsylvania (ASPP).

 

Ms. Hollins is currently pursuing her doctoral degree at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and is interested in researching support  for children of incarcerated parents & their caregivers.  Additionally, Ms. Hollins recently obtained her certification for supervision of pupil services from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Ms. Hollins is actively supporting the school district’s transition to a Response to Intervention & Instruction (RtII) framework, and looks forward to best supporting the students in the district under this model. Ms. Hollins is ready, willing, and able to provide service to the students, parents and staff of the Harrisburg School District. Ms. Hollins feels privileged to be among great colleagues, who share a genuine interest in the success of our students. She looks forward to many years of service.
