Essay: Submit 300-word-typewritten personal essay describing your current interests and activities, as well as sharing future goals and ambitions.
Letters of Recommendation: Submit three personal reference letters. One should be from high school teacher on school letterhead. References should be sealed in an envelope and should not be opened by the student. All reference letters must remain confidential.

This scholarship was created to provide assistance to Central PA high school seniors pursuing degrees in fields related to environment and sustainability. It is meant for young women and men who aspire to make a difference as well as a salary.
Any area of study in the sciences, social sciences, or the humanities will be considered, provided it contributes to the integration of environment, economy, and social systems into a healthy, sustainable world for future generations.
