 School Psychology Internships
 

Interns will receive the minimum 1200 clock hour supervised Internship hours required for the School Psychology Certification in the state of PA. School Psychology Interns will assume the full role of School Psychologists in their placement site, with appropriate supervision to support their practice. 

The Intern’s time will be divided among the activities of assessment, behavioral, academic and psychological intervention, consultation, and will likely include experience with prevention programs and/or crisis intervention services. The Intern will be engaged in providing services to children and adolescents of varying ages, ethnicity and students with a broad array of presenting problems. Harrisburg School District offers a board approved School Psychology Intern curriculum to guide the internship year which integrates the 10 domains of practice from NASP's Practice Model.

* Brief narrative of academic activities, publications, presentations... which enhance your abilities as a school psychology intern.

Please note: In order to be eligible for this opportunity, you must be enrolled in a school psychology program and be eligible for certification as a school psychologist folliwng your internship year.
